I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus

I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus T. Connor (c) 1952 I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus Underneath the mistletoe last night. She didn't see me creep down the stairs to have a peep; She thought that I was tucked up in my bedroom fast asleep. Then, I saw Mommy tickle Santa Claus Underneath his beard so snowy white; Oh, what a laugh it would have been If Daddy had only seen Mommy kissing Santa Claus last night. I'll Be Home For Christmas Kim Gannon, Walter Kent (c) 1943 I'll be home for Christmas You can count on me Please have snow and mistletoe and presents on the tree Christmas Eve will find me Where the love light gleams I'll be home for Christmas If only in my dreams It's the most wonderful time of the year Eddie Pola, George Wyle 1963 It's the most wonderful time of the year. With the kids jingle belling, and everyone telling you, "Be of good cheer," It's the most wonderful time of the year. There'll be parties for hosting, marshmallows for to...

Funny Christmas Carols

Image
Funny Christmas songs are common and fairly popular, especially with the younger generation. However, it was not always like this. Christmas songs have a history going back centuries. In fact, back in 129 AD, a song called "Angel Hymn" was recommended by a roman Bishop to be sung at Christmas services. It was, arguably, the first "Christmas song." Other songs were written soon afterwards, but most of them were written in Latin, something that common people couldn't understand. Thus the songs went fairly unappreciated and sank into oblivion. Christmas Lights

Image
Christmas lights (also sometimes called fairy lights, twinkle lights or holiday lights in the United States) are strands of electric lights used to decorate homes, public/commercial buildings and Christmas trees during the Christmas season. Christmas lights come in a dazzling array of configurations and colors. The small "midget" bulbs commonly known as fairy lights are also called Italian lights in some parts of the U.S., such as Chicago. Christmas Lights Christmas Lights

Lyrics to christmas songs

A Baby Just Like You John Denver, J. Henry (c) 1975 The season is upon us now A time for gifts and giving And as the year draws to its close I think about my living The Christmas time when I was young, The magic and the wonder, But colors dull and candles dim, And dark my standing under O little Zachary, shining light You've set my soul to dreaming You've given back my joy in life And filled me with new meaning A Savior King was born that day, A baby just like you, And as the Magi came with gifts, I come with my gift too That peace on Earth fills up your time, That brotherhood surrounds you. That you may know the warmth of love, And wrap it all around you It's just a wish, a dream I'm told From days when I was young Merry Christmas, little Zachary Merry Christmas, everyone Merry Christmas, little Zachary Merry Christmas, everyone All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth Every body stops and stares at me These two teeth are gone as you can see I don't know just...

Frosty the Snow Man

Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul, With a corncob pipe and a button nose and two eyes made out of coal. Frosty the snowman is a fairy tale, they say, He was made of snow but the children know how he came to life one day. There must have been some magic in that old silk hat they found. For when they placed it on his head he began to dance around. O, Frosty the snowman was alive as he could be, And the children say he could laugh and play just the same as you and me. Thumpetty thump thump, thumpety thump thump, Look at Frosty go. Thumpetty thump thump, thumpety thump thump, Over the hills of snow. Frosty the snowman knew the sun was hot that day, So he said, "Let's run and we'll have some fun now before I melt away." Down to the village, with a broomstick in his hand, Running here and there all around the square saying, Catch me if you can. He led them down the streets of town right to the traffic cop. And he only paused a moment when he heard him holler "S...

Christmas For Cowboys S. Weisberg (c) 1975 Tall in the saddle we spend Christmas day Driving the cattle on the snow-covered plains. All of the good gifts given today; Ours is the sky and the wide open range. Back in the cities, they have different ways, Football and eggnog and Christmas parades. I'll take the blanket; I'll take the reins; Christmas for Cowboys and wide open plains. A campfire for warmth as we stop for the night; The stars overhead are the Christmas-tree lights. The wind sings a hymn as we bow down to pray; Christmas for Cowboys and the wide open plains. It's tall in the saddle we spend Christmas Day, Driving the cattle on the snow-covered plains. So many gifts have been opened today; Ours is the sky and the wide open range. It's Christmas for Cowboys and wide open plains. Christmas In Killarney The holly green, the ivy green The prettiest picture you've ever seen Is Christmas in Killarney With all of the folks at home It's nice, you know, to kis...
